Projects and secure sharing

Keep related conversations and documents together in projects, and share projects or conversations with the colleagues who need them.

Ongoing work now has a place to live. Projects keep related conversations, documents, and context together, so a case review or policy analysis doesn’t have to start from scratch each time.

Work in Timberline is private by default. You can now share a project or an individual conversation with specific colleagues, under a new authorization model that controls exactly who can see and do what.

The workspace navigation has also been reorganized around projects, with a resizable sidebar.

  1. Password sign-in with multi-factor authentication

Teams without single sign-on can now use password sign-in protected by authenticator-app MFA, account lockout, and breached-password checks.

  2. Invitation-only access and an Access panel for administrators

Accounts now require an invitation, and administrators can manage members and invitations without any access to conversations.

  3. Security hardening across the platform

Per-tenant model isolation, short-lived credentials, cleaner logs, and automatic security patching strengthen how Timberline runs.
